So I installed MS office '07 the other day. I was happy.
Just like IE7, the guys at Microsoft have finally figured out the value of tabs and customization.
MS Office '07 - totally new interface, a lot like IE7 i.e. all tabs and super customization. You can practically arrange all your commonly used commands in one single toolbar. Everything else is under multiple tabs for operational efficiency. Highly intuitive - though initially those used to older versions of MS Office might have problems location some of their commands, but once you're used to it... you'll never want to go back.
Oh, and they have skins too!
